We have fifteen Veterinary Nurses at the practice consisting of seven qualified and eight students. As a training practice our nurses are trained to a high standard in order for them to pass the rigorous Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Veterinary Nursing national examinations. Upon qualifying our nurses may legally take responsibility for many aspects of inpatient and client care and become an essential part of the veterinary team. They play an active role in assisting the veterinary surgeons and also run a variety of nurse clinics.
The team is complimented with the provision of a Practice Manager – Carole Martin. Carole joined the practice in 1984 and changed her role from Head Nurse to Practice Manager in July 2008. Carole oversees the running and organisation of the practice and is also closely involved with veterinary nurse training.
